A handmade wooden side gate, custom-built and installed for a North Vancouver home. The finished design combines vertical boards, a lattice top and a framed edge, with hinges, a latch and a diagonal brace visible from the rear.

A gate made for the opening
This project shows a single side gate fitted between the existing boundaries of the passage beside the home. The solid lower section provides screening, while the lattice continues the design above it. The rear photograph shows the diagonal brace and installed hardware.
